I have been part of introducing the Silver Somali in most of the world and today many Silver lines go back to some of my cats. Breeders in both Scandinavia, Europe, UK, Australia, South Africa and the US today work with Silvers that go heavily back to Dushara Silver Somalis.
It has always been important to me to outcross the Silvers - especially to non-silvers - to create new lines and increase our genepool. However, after about 20 years of breeding with this wonderful colour I feel the need to cut drastically down on my whole breeding program and this means that especially the Silver Somalis will be reduced dramatically or and I may simply stop breeding Silvers..............

Dushara Diamond Soelfur
Diamond is a young Blacksilver male with lots of rufism. However, he does have an interesting outcrossed pedigree, a lovely sweet look, and he is a sweet, friendly and fun Somali. We will probably use Diamond for one litter sometime in 2011 before he is neutered and petted out.
